Book Study: Simply Anglican
We’ll gather together on the evening of August 13th at 7:30pm to discuss the book Simply Anglican by Winfield Bevins. This book is a very readable and friendly introduction to the Anglican tradition—a helpful read for those newer to Anglicanism and for those already acquainted.
Do your best to read the entirely of the book before we gather to discuss, but if you don’t finish ahead of time (even if you don’t read any of the book), please come anyway! The discussion will be fruitful regardless.
As our time together will be relatively short (90 minutes), we will not be able to discuss the book in its entirety. If you have pressing questions or topics you’d like to discuss, please bring those, and we can do our best to hit those areas of interest.

Every Thursday, from June 18–July 30, the streets of downtown White Bear are filled with vendors and booths. This year, Church of the Good Shepherd will host a weekly booth at Marketfest. We view this as an opportunity for outreach and fellowship. It’ll be so good to be at the Marketfest party together.
As summer approaches, free up your Thursdays, so that you can join the party — whether it’s helping serve at the Good Shepherd booth or roaming the streets with friends and family. Let’s aim to be present in our community—being a light to the world.
